Upon completing a variety of urban research and design projects within Environmental Design in the School of Architecture at UBC, we presented to the Marpole Area Residents Association and they requested our research. We created studio Marpole to open up our research to the wider public and debates surrounding development pressures in the neighbourhood in Vancouver

Canadian Mental Health Association
With 20 branches across the province, CMHA needed a design and technical solution that negotiated a provincial identity while respecting the local desires and needs of individual branches. Fundamentally understanding the structure, aspirations, and challenges of the organization were crucial to creating something that worked at a provincial and local scale.

Booksprouts
An online venture started in 2008, Booksprouts is a social network for the reading community that garnered attention and quickly grew to boast over 6000 members in less than 6 months. Juicebox was a founding partner in the venture, handling all of the design work and also getting our hands dirty in rubyonrails code.

Culina Family of Restaurants
The Culina Family has restaurants and catering service business at multiple locations spanning Alberta and BC. Juicebox played the role of technical specialist to build them a platform that allowed them to power six websites for a little more than it would cost to build one.

Culinary Ink
As a startup caterer and personal chef in a very established and competetive market in Vancouver, Culinary Ink needed a well designed website that is also well constructed for search engine optimisation. After building the website, we successfully caried out a search engine marketing campaign that continues to drive business.
